Out of all the questions that we asked in our "Ask the statistician" blog and video series at the recent SAS Global Forum, I was most intrigued to hear the responses to this next question: What are the next big trends in statistics?
Watch the latest video in the series to hear their fascinating responses.
We would like to hear from you. What are your predictions for the next big trends in statistics?

I believe "Analytical Process Management" (APM) will become much more important.
APM combines model management, rule management, workflow management, analytical life cycle management, and decision management. Roles in APM will be more comprehensively identified and custom UI front-end (with associated underlying data models) will be developed to meet the needs of each role.
APM will be enhanced to embrace big data era. Model management will be broaden to manage all types of statistical models: predictive, text, time series, and optimization.
A rich collection of "RESTful web service API (with paired HTMP 5 components if applicable) for APM" will be available.
Robert, Thanks for contributing to the trends in statistics blog. I am sure that "Analytical Process Management" is a trend that many would like to learn more about.
